Assignment
I reimagined the brand identity for Leonardis Classic Mead, a premium mead crafted using the finest Texas honey. My goal was to celebrate mead's heritage and distinctive flavor profile while positioning Leonardis as a modern, artisanal beverage that appeals to both traditional enthusiasts and a new generation of consumers.
Approach
I developed a design strategy that balanced timeless tradition with Renaissance elegance. Drawing inspiration from historical motifs, I combined classical typography with embellished graphics. I incorporated warm, honey-inspired tones and subtle textures to evoke a sense of artisanal craftsmanship, reflecting the product's natural origins and superior quality. This visual language was applied consistently across packaging, digital assets, and promotional materials to create a cohesive and memorable brand experience.
Results
The refreshed branding for Leonardis Classic Mead successfully displays its rich heritage and premium quality. The new visual identity connects with enthusiasts while attracting younger, artisanal-minded consumers. Through this project, I enhanced my ability to blend historical context with modern design practice—an essential skill for my future career in brand strategy and design.
